    Julian SimmondsStephen is a serial entrepreneur and currently CEO and founder of Innovation Intelligence Group, a company specialising in business model research and innovation. During the last 8 years Stephen has set up two new brands in the different industry sectors, and written 8 books on automotive design and innovation. Innovation Intelligence Group provides specialist business model research to business schools, companies, governments and entrepreneurs around the world. Stephen leads a global team of researchers and business consultants who are constantly building knowledge into how fast-growth businesses achieve growth through business model innovation.

    Prior to 2002 Stephen worked as a chartered engineer in the automotive industry, initially in structural design simulation and then as head of concept design for a large European consulting company. He played a key role in the development of high performance road cars for brands including Volvo, Renault, Bugatti, BTO and VW. He has also spent some time working in product development in China, Sweden and France.

    Stephen has a strong passion for all forms of innovation, be it technology, design, or business. It is this passion that underpins the desire to bring together a global research team and form the Innovation Intelligence Group. Stephen has a mechanical engineering degree from Bristol in the UK. His other interests include design and architecture.
